So excited to be part of this show! I’m showing 6 pieces in a series I called “go with all your heart”. The pieces explore what’s it’s like to try to keep your heart open and find the moments of joy, even as you navigate loss, grief, trauma, pain.
The opening reception is October 14 from 6pm to 10pm. There will be live entertainment, a cash bar and even framing services.
Show continues in person on October 15 and 16 (Saturday 10am - 7pm & Sunday 10am - 5pm) and online at www.KingstonSquareFoot.com
The Glebe art in our gardens tour is back on this year! Can’t wait to see you all in my backyard! More details to come, stay tuned. xo
The Square Foot Show is hosting a flash benefit show for Ukraine. Hundreds of artists have donated 12x12 pieces for the show. All proceeds will go to World Vision, which is working with refugees on Ukraine's border in Romania—providing hygiene kits, psychological first aid and child-friendly aid.
I donated "help i have done it again" (pictured below). It's inspired by a SIA song, breathe me. It's acrylic and mixed media, finished with resin.
If everything sells, it'll mean close to $40,000 going to help the people of Ukraine.
I am so excited to be part of Abstract 2, the Square Foot Show coming up in August. I’m one of 68 abstract and impressionist artists in the show. All of the pieces are 12x12 and $300 each. I’ll be making 5 pieces for the show, on wood panel, and I’m playing with several different themes…
… exploring calm, serene paintings in which my usual colourful, chaotic paintings are covered up so that only little bits of the chaos come through here and there…
… exploring working within limits: limited paint colours, limited number of marks and brushstrokes on a painting, limited materials, limited time…
… exploring encaustic!!
I’m not completely sure what I’ll show at the Square Foot Show… I just know they’ll be 12x12!!

I am so excited to be part of the Fresh emerging artist show on www.artwrk.ca from May 21-27, 2021—with 6 other artists.
I’ll be releasing my little song to the siren series… Six pieces inspired by the many different covers of Tim Buckley’s Song to the Siren. They evoke water, the sea… and love. Always love.
Hope you have a chance to check the show out! o
