I am excited to be hanging some new pieces at the gcCafé tonight. The show will run from April 25 to the end of May. I'll be showing a new series called "I'll rise like the day" and some other smaller pieces. The "I'll rise like the day" series is inspired by the Andra Day song, "Rise Up". It was pretty much on repeat while I was painting these. So much fun to sing and fitting for spring too. New beginnings. Rising up... Always rising up.
